How white label SEO works, from the first call to monthly growth.
Five phases, each one closed by something you can see and approve. Your client sees your agency the whole way through; I do the work behind it.
Intro call and NDA
First we check that the fit is real: your clients, your gaps and what a good result looks like for your agency.
- 30-minute intro call, free. The services you sell, the clients you want to hand off and where your team is short of hands.
- Mutual NDA before any data. Signed before you share a client name, a login or a report.
- Pick one pilot client. Usually the account that worries you most or the one your team has no time for.
- Written scope in 2 business days. Deliverables, dates and the wholesale price per client, so you can set your own margin.
- Simple terms. Month to month, 30 days notice, invoices in USD by wire transfer, Global66 or PayPal.
Checkpoint: NDA signed and a pilot client chosen, with a scope you can quote from.
Onboarding
The first days are for access, context and a dated baseline, so every later report compares against something real.
- Agency brief. Your report template, brand rules for deliverables, approval chain and the tools your team already uses.
- Client brief, about 20 minutes.
- Services or products that make the most money, service areas and seasonality.
- The 3 to 5 competitors that win the client's searches.
- Past SEO vendors, migrations, redesigns or penalties.
- What counts as a lead and what it is worth.
- Words, claims or topics the client does not allow.
- Access through your agency. A user under your agency email or a neutral address you control. Never a shared password. Full list below.
- Kickoff inside your tools. Your Slack channel and your project board (Asana, ClickUp, Trello or Teamwork).
- Baseline snapshot. Clicks, impressions, rankings, leads and Core Web Vitals, saved with the date.
Checkpoint: Access working, tasks set up in your tools and a dated baseline.
What access I ask for
The lowest level that lets me do the work, granted through your agency. You and your client keep ownership and can remove me at any time.
| Tool | What it is for | Access level | Needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Search Console | Indexation, queries and technical errors | Full user | Required |
| Google Analytics 4 | Traffic, conversions and lead attribution | Editor, or Analyst for read-only | Required |
| Google Business Profile | Local SEO, posts, reviews and categories | Manager | Local clients |
| Website CMS | On-page fixes, content and schema (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow…) | Editor or admin user | Required |
| Google Tag Manager | Conversion tracking and events | Publish, or Edit with your approval | If tracking needs work |
| Your report template | Looker Studio or the format you already send | Editor on a copy you own | Required |
| Hosting or DNS | Redirects, speed and verification records | Only for a specific task | Optional |
| CRM or call tracking | Matching organic leads to sales | Read-only export | Optional |
If the client has no GA4 or Search Console yet, I create them under the client's ownership, with your agency as administrator.
Pilot audit and 90-day plan
About a week after access, you get a ranked plan for the pilot client in your template, ready to present as your own work.
- Technical: crawl, indexation, redirects and 404s, duplicates, schema, Core Web Vitals and mobile.
- On-page and content: titles, headings, thin or overlapping pages, internal links and gaps against competitors.
- Local, when it applies: Google Business Profile categories, reviews, name, address and phone consistency, location pages.
- Keyword map: keywords grouped by intent and matched to existing or new pages.
- AI search: how the client's brand appears in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity.
- Tracking: forms, calls and bookings recorded as GA4 conversions.
- Account manager summary: one page in plain language your team can forward or present.
Checkpoint: You approve the plan and present it to your client. Each task is ranked by impact and effort.
Implementation
Fix what blocks Google first, then build the pages that win the searches your client sells from.
- Critical fixes: indexation errors, broken redirects, speed problems and missing or wrong schema.
- On-page work on the highest-value pages: titles, descriptions, headings and internal links.
- Content: service, category or location pages and articles that answer real customer questions. Drafts go to you for approval first.
- Local SEO: Business Profile optimization, a review request routine and citation clean-up.
- Conversion basics: clear calls to action, shorter forms, click-to-call and WhatsApp where they fit.
Checkpoint: Core fixes are live and the first new pages are published.
Monthly growth and scaling
Every month runs the same loop: measure, decide, ship, report. When the pilot works, you add accounts.
- Monthly content plan built from what ranks, what sits close to page one and new keyword gaps.
- Link building and digital PR on relevant, real sites. No paid link networks.
- Technical monitoring: a monthly crawl and Search Console review to catch new errors early.
- AI search visibility: structured answers, schema and brand mentions that assistants can cite.
- Quarterly review with you: results against the baseline, what to stop, and the next 90 days.
- New accounts follow the same onboarding, so each one starts with a baseline and a plan.
Reports and communication
You always know what was done, what changed and what comes next, in a format your account managers can present.
Live dashboard
Always on
A Looker Studio dashboard with your logo: clicks, impressions, leads, top pages and keywords.
Weekly update
Every Friday
A short note in your Slack or by email: done, in progress and anything I need from you.
Monthly report
First week of the month
Results against last month and the baseline, work delivered and next month's plan, in your template.
Quarterly review
Every 3 months
A call with you on KPIs, strategy changes and the next 90 days.
Alerts
When it happens
Traffic drops, a site down, a manual action or a suspended Business Profile.
What I measure
Organic leads and conversions, clicks, non-branded rankings, pages in the top 10, Business Profile calls and direction requests, Core Web Vitals and AI search mentions.
How we talk
Your Slack or chat for quick questions, email for reports and approvals, Google Meet or Zoom for calls. Replies within one business day, from UTC−5: the same as US Eastern in winter, one hour behind in summer.
What I need from your agency
A small, steady part on your side keeps the work moving and your client happy.
If we stop working together
Give 30 days notice to cancel or pause. In that last month you get a final report and every page, dashboard and document I produced (yours once paid), and I remove my access from every account. The NDA keeps protecting your clients for three years after the work ends.
What stays the same in every phase
- Your brand only. Reports, dashboards and documents carry your logo and colors.
- No client contact. I never reach out to your clients. If you want me on a call, I join as part of your team.
- Your tools. I work inside your Slack and project board, not in a separate portal.
- No ranking guarantees. SEO usually shows clear movement in 3 to 6 months, longer in competitive markets. What I commit to is the work, transparency and measurable progress.
Questions about the process
How long until the first deliverable?
About a week after access is ready, you get the pilot audit and a 90-day plan in your template.
Do you need my client's passwords?
No. I ask for a user added through your agency's email or a neutral address you control, at the lowest level that lets me do the work.
Will my client know you are involved?
No. Everything is delivered under your brand, I sign an NDA first and I never contact your clients unless you invite me to a call as part of your team.
